The big surprise for me at The Big Ticket was the Silversun Pickups. I had not been much of a fan of their music and until Sunday, had never seen them perform. Their set on the main stage powerful and crystal clear. Although Nikki Monninger was absent due to being on maternity leave, Sarah Negahdari from the Happy Hollows aptly filled in on bass. Being a fan of the L.A. based Happy Hollows, it was great to see Sarah and she definitely filled the role well. I wish their set would have been longer but will definitely make an effort to see them again. Here is the setlist:
